At Border Commanders Consulting Group we are a team of professional Federal government leaders with real, relevant and recent experience leading large government organizations throughout the U.S. and abroad. We were at the forefront of the creation of the Department of Homeland Security bringing together disparate Federal agencies each with its own history and culture and led the charge when U.S. Border Patrol, the largest uniformed Federal law enforcement organization, doubled its workforce from 10,000 employees to over 20,000 in a short timeframe while simultaneously transitioning the organization into the newly established DHS.

We successfully led large scale change at organizational and Department of Homeland Security levels through creation of Corridor Command Structures in Arizona and South Texas at the organizational level and the creation of a first-ever Department of Homeland Security Southern Border and Approaches Campaign spanning from Texas to California. These initiatives resulted in a unified approach to resolving border security challenges by leveraging capabilities of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), and other Executive branch resources.

We led multiple agencies across multiple disciplines and successfully integrated capabilities, eliminated redundancies and created efficiencies to achieve end state objectives.
